My four faithful Teens are a source of great joy to me. They are blooming and growing in their faith.
They love it to honor the Lord with their singing, both when by themselves before the congregation, which makes the church members very happy. As long as we have been part of the church, this is the first time that young people continue coming to Sunday School, even after turning 12 year or older, for which we thank God.
My youngest participant is 13 and the oldest, (Kyle) is 17. Kyle often comes to Sunday School with a scripture verse on his heart, which totally relates to what I had planned for my lesson that morning.
Last month the kids helped put together food baskets for needy members of our community. They also helped distribute them and while doing so they asked the recipients if they could pray for any needs they might have. I was pleasantly surprised hearing their loving, empathetic prayers for those who wanted prayer.
Thanks for praying for them!

Kyle is one of the four young people who directly participated with the outreach team from Oregon this summer. Everything was done together with the team, Bible study, Bible verse memorization (the learned verses had to be recited before every meal time), work, assistance with the Hoop Camp, VBS program and Adventure Camp. The cooperation with the team worked out very well.
During the final day of Adventure Camp Kyle shared his testimony. He recalled his fight against extreme sadness and Depression after his Dad had passed away. He clothed in black, withdrew from all contact with others and only spoke when absolutely necessary, i.e. When he was directly asked by a teacher in school. Although we have known Kyle for many years, the depth of his struggle with depression was hidden from us, since he had always been a quiet person.
Then however, he spoke with determination and strength about how he had a breakthrough with Jesus. His behavior and outlook on life changed considerably. At the end of his talk, he shared that he has already decided, that he wants to become a Pastor. His plans are to begin with his training after he graduates from High School. Would you please pray for Kyle, so that he’ll keep following the Lord’s leadin without being sidetracked?!
